Hunt & Gather
Multi-media Exhibition

This unique exhibition was developed early 2019 in collaboration with the History Festival of South Australia and with the generous support of City of Adelaide. Originally showcased at the Drill Hall, this multi-media exhibition was designed for audiences to experience the same intimate care we were fortunate enough to receive when meeting Sanaz, Margota, Ints, Ulla, and Uncle Tamaru.

Immerse yourself in Sanaz' living room as the samovar boils, enjoying the spicy aroma of Persian flavours wafting sweetly and imaginatively across your palette. Join the joyous conversation between long-term friends Ulla, Margota and Ints at the Latvian Hall in Wayville as they swap anecdotes of Latvian hospitality. Learn from the traditional custodians of the Adelaide Plains through the local wisdom of Uncle Tamaru - who's lessons of Ngaitalya (Respect) for Country, resources and community, provide a timely reminder that the roots that run deepest withstand the experience of change.
